Information for advertisers
Audience
The Rural Nurse Organization (RNO) was founded
in 1989 by and for rural nurses for the purpose of recognizing,
promoting and maintaining the unique specialty of rural nursing
practice. Rural nurses are a special group of professionals
working in an especially demanding environment.
RNO is the only professional organization of health
care providers dedicated to the specialized practice and unique
challenges of rural nursing. RNO membership includes registered
nurses, licensed practical/vocational nurses, and nursing assistants.
The RNO envisions:
- Recognition of the diversity of rural nursing
practice.
- A voice for rural nurses to health care agencies,
academia and government.
- Continuing education and access to resources
for rural nurses.
- Quality health care for rural communities.
While our active membership is small it includes
many rural nursing leaders across the country. Membership is
open to non-nursing professionals who are interested in rural
healthcare. The organization It provides a forum for nurses
and other health professionals to come together to discuss issues
relevant to health care delivery through its web site, the Online
Journal of Rural Nursing and Health Care and the newsletter,
which has both an electronic and paper format.
Advertising through RNO can be done through the
web site, the journal, or the newsletter. The ad rates for the
web site and the journal are listed below. If interested in

$100.00 whole page per issue; $75.00 half page per issue; $50.00
quarter page per issue. For copy conversion please add $75.00/hour.

Online Journal of Rural Nursing and Health Care
The ad rates for advertising in the journal is the same as for
the web site. All articles published in the selected issue(s)
will contain the link or icon. The Journal is published 4 times
a year with 4 articles per issue.
Job Market
Members: $75.00 per month, or 6 months for $300.00 per agency
with unlimited number of position listings for site-ready copy.
For copy conversion please add $75.00/hour.
Non-Members: $100.00 per month or 6 months for
$400.00 for site-ready copy with a limit of 4 position listings
per ad. For copy conversion please add $75.00/hour.
