The Position 

  • The Interim Director of Nursing will assume full responsibility of the day-to-day operations of assigned nursing units within a 21-bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH), Level 4 Trauma Center.
  • Position will report to the CNO, Interim CEO and oversee a staff of RN’s. LPN’s, CNA’s, and unit clerks.
  • This leader will fulfill the crucial role of guiding the nursing staff through onboarding and preceptorship. Additionally, they will be responsible for managing one charge shift each week.
  • The ideal candidates for this position will possess prior experience in a CAH, with a strong background in both Women's Services, Labor and Delivery as well as the ED. Additionally, a demonstrated history of leadership experience and the ability to mentor/grow staff is essential.
  • Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance. 
  • Enjoy a $2,500 Sign-On bonus if you are placed in this role!
  • Bachelor's degree and Active RN required. Previous experience in Women's Services, OBGYN, and ED is preferred.
