Dear International Rural Nursing Conference Registrants, Speakers, Exhibitors & Sponsors:

After careful consideration and discussions with the International Rural Nursing Conference Planning Committee, a decision has been made to postpone our conference that was scheduled to take place from July 27-30, 2020 in Greeley, Colorado at the DoubleTree Hotel.

The health and safety of all attendees, staff, exhibitors, presenters, and their families are our highest priority. By holding the conference, we could not only put attendees at risk, but we may also risk displacing many of you – essential healthcare personnel - during a public health crisis.

Our decision to postpone this event was not taken lightly. We have been closely monitoring updates and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), as well as state and local governments. Numerous countries and states have declared a State of Emergency, with many implementing travel restrictions for nonessential travel. These restrictions directly impact many of our attendees and scheduled speakers.

For those who have had your abstract accepted for presentation and/or poster, you may list it on your curriculum vita as “Peer-reviewed and accepted for International Rural Nursing Conference (date TBD given COVID19 pandemic).”

The conference planning committee will continue to meet to discuss the specifics of rescheduling the conference, and as soon as we know more about a future conference date, we will be in touch with a Save-the-Date.

In regards to refunds, please see below:

  1.             If you paid by credit card, we will automatically refund your card.
  2.             If you paid by check, be on the lookout for a link to register as a vendor in our system so that we may issue a direct deposit.
  3.             We will be cancelling all hotel rooms booked in the block at the Greeley DoubleTree. If you do not receive a confirmation email from the hotel, please contact the hotel to cancel your room.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this decision has caused, but we also feel strongly that it was the right choice to make given the rapidly evolving circumstances around this public health crisis. Thank you for all that you do.

 Our best,

Adrianne and Sea
